Because you are connected to other spirits through the interdependent web, you can meet someone and act and react based on your spirit’s recognition of the other spirit. Do you experience an immediate liking or loathing of that person based on nothing that has happened to inform you of that person’s background, beliefs, or state of mind? When this happens, you are experiencing your spirit’s memory of a different incarnation with that person. Dislike at first sight can be your spirit remembering a past adversarial relationship. This person may have been someone with whom you shared a violent event or a harsh dependency. Love at first sight is often a recall of a deep and abiding emotional bond with that person. A past loving and caring existence together is warmly remembered and both of your spirits reach towards that familiar security. When our spirits meet after separation, our memories of other incarnations together inform our reactions and actions. Namaste!

Since all time is now and all space is here, all of our lifetimes are occurring at the same time. When we suddenly have a feeling of knowing something we could not otherwise know or we seem to be aware of alternative actions we are performing, we are experiencing a connection to those other lifetimes. For example, you are washing the dishes, looking out the window, and not thinking of anything in particular. Suddenly you are aware of yourself reading to a small child by candlelight. This is an awareness of another incarnation of your spirit experiencing a different manifestation in the illusion of time. The simultaneous knowledge of our lifetimes can be disconcerting, but also informative of the totality of our being. Past life recall becomes more accessible when we realize we are remembering a simultaneously occurring incarnation. Sit quietly and remember all that you are! Namaste!

When we are in a state of distress, we often turn to friends and family members for help. As we listen to their words of understanding and guidance, we need to keep in mind that they, too, are spirits incarnate and are connected to spirits discarnate. Thus, their words are often informed by their connection to the interdependent web. As they allow themselves to become channels through which messages are delivered from the Creative Spirit, we can discern the feeling of the content taking on a tone of truth that surpasses simple kindness and, instead, contains needed knowledge we have forgotten. When we seek guidance, we are asking to be reminded of that which we already know but that we have forgotten in our moment of distress. Namaste!

When we find ourselves in a state of distress or worry, we can appeal to those in spirit to come to our aid and provide us comfort, solace, and support. We never have to experience anything as a solitary being in the universe. We always have help available to us 24/7. Just as we could call a friend or family member for help on this plane, we can also appeal not only to those in spirit for guidance and help, but also to our spirit self, which is always connected to the All. With practice, we can discern the voice of spirit and learn to trust the input that we receive when we ask. One way to do this is to remember to keep a notebook in which to write both our questions and needs and the responses we receive. Over time, it will become apparent that there is an unmistakable conversation occurring through which we can receive guidance and help. Spirit is available to help us on our path through this life. We only need to ask for help and listen well. Namaste!

It is said that we are never given more than we can handle. This is because we are sustained within the interdependent web that provides both the pathways we travel and the net to catch us should we falter. When we become overwhelmed by the whirling storms that threaten our equilibrium, we have the means to return to a state of calm no matter what is occurring in our environment. Sit quietly, eyes closed, and concentrate on inhaling and exhaling. Imagine and know the still center that rests within your spiritual core. From this space of peace, release your tension and distress into the interdependent web, knowing this negative energy will be dissipated and dispersed, rendering it powerless over your life. When we release the negative energy, we can meet anything from the position of positive love energy. Namaste!

What we did or did not do in previous lifetimes informs our existence in this one. Were we kind, compassionate, loving, helpful? Did we show empathy and strive to raise the condition of those around us? Or were we self-centered, miserly, mean, cruel, bereft of empathy? Did we inflict pain rather than comfort? Whatever we did or did not do in one lifetime can have implications for all of our lives, sustaining a series of events that will continue to present themselves until the positive vanquishes the negative and the higher realization of the best we can be is actualized. When we can return both kindness and cruelty with a strong and discerning heart, we meet the challenge to raise the vibrational levels of the All. What we do or do not do in this lifetime will have a future impact. Practice daily acting and reacting with and within the energy of love. Namaste!
