The world is facing many challenges because it is fear-based rather than love-based. From the economy to other people’s sexual orientation, from political unrest to environmental pollution, the fear of the unknown is driving our actions and reactions. When we believe that what we are seeing and experiencing is somehow imbued with negativity by some unseen or unknowable force and that therefore we have no control over a given outcome, we hide behind our locked doors with curtains drawn, never asking if what we are perceiving as a threat is real or is the product of someone’s imagination, someone trying to gain and maintain control and power. When we begin to realize that we have control over our actions and reactions, we can begin to set aside fear and exist through the energy of love. Namaste!
