Live in each moment! Celebrate that moment as if it is the only moment! Be in the totality of that moment and fill it with the joy that fills you as you realize your place in the universe. Look up at the stars and down at the blades of grass and know that you are a part of these and they are a part of you. And if the stars and the blades of grass are of the same substance as you, shift your awareness and know that each person you encounter is also of that same substance, that everything and everyone is part of the same cosmic family, living in the illusion of separateness, even as the illusion of space and time supports our physical reality. How is this possible? Because we are all—the stars, the grass, and our selves—existing together, bound in the interdependent web through the energy of love. Namaste!

When we realize we possess the gift of awareness, we are filled with a joy that surpasses earthly joy. It is spiritual joy. It is knowing we are part of the larger dance of joy that is expressed and expanding across the interdependent web and has been doing so since the Creative Force actualized the idea of love. This joy fills the very core of our being where our spirit lives while we are living on the physical plane and it reaches out towards others, inviting them to join us in the dance. When we allow ourselves to feel and celebrate the bountiful blessings of the universe, which shower upon us as a soft and refreshing spring rain, in gold and silver sparks of love, we feel our spirit not as a separate entity, but as a part of the All. When we share our awareness of spiritual joy with others, we offer them a path to finding that love energy within themselves. Namaste!

The practice of gratitude allows us to become more than we are by opening ourselves up to receive. When we are grateful for what we have and who we are, the Creative Force is able to respond with plenitude and fullness. Generosity and gratitude exist as balancing forces in the universe. It is said, as you sow, so shall you reap. This means whatever you put out into the world, you will receive back in like kind. To assure a constant flow, the energy of gratitude opens a passageway through which we send and receive. Keeping ourselves open to this energy flow allows us to become the best we can be and to have our needs and wants met. As we send love out, we in turn receive love back. When we are compassionate, we are shown compassion. Kindness is met with kindness. Gratitude creates a never ending cycle of giving and receiving within the interdependent web. Namaste!

When walking, walk. When baking bread, bake bread. When sipping tea, sip tea. When we concentrate on that which we are doing when we are doing it, we are living in the moment, mindful and aware. This awareness allows us to experience now while consciously acting in that moment. By paying close and intimate attention to whatever we are doing, we enter into a connection with the interdependent web and, thus, with the reality in which spirit exists. For spirit, whether incarnate or discarnate, now is the only time that exists. But for spirit incarnate, it requires effort to focus on that moment, and for spirit discarnate, it is simply the manner of being. This is why, when speaking with discarnate spirit, time seems to exist in flux, rather than linearly. They try to speak in terms of time that incarnate spirit can understand, so the now they are speaking of may be 30 years ago or 10 minutes in the future. When spirits speak with each other across the veil, by remaining mindful, we can share the camaraderie of existing in the ever evolving now. Namaste!

When we pray, it does not matter in what language we do so, or to whom, or what our belief system is. When we ask the Creative Force, by whatever name we call that entity, to help or to heal one or many in need, we send our appeals out via the energy of love along the radials of the interdependent web. In doing so, when our prayers join together with shared intent, miracles can occur. The ill are healed, the suffering are salved, and those grieving are filled  with solace. When those from different paths join together in prayer, it is like a beautiful garden of fragrant flowers of different colors and scents. Prayers offered in love and compassion affirm and sustain our connection and commitment to each other regardless of the diversity of expression. Namaste!

We have all felt love, either expressing it towards another person or receiving it. It is a warm and glowing feeling that makes us feel happy, secure, and complete. When we think of the emotion of love, we think of sharing it with a relative, a friend, or a special someone. In other words, the emotion of love is expressed between individuals. The energy of love, on the other hand, is expressed in a more all-encompassing manner. It is an energy that is sent out broadly, without a specific person in mind, but, rather, towards the world around us, including not simply people, but all living beings, animal and plant alike. The energy of love swells from within us and reaches out towards the All. Close your eyes and try sending the energy of love out from the area of your heart chakra. Do not think of a specific person, but, rather, send it with no specific recipient in mind. As you feel this love energy expanding towards the All, you will begin to sense a strong feeling of love coming toward you, filling you with an undeniable feeling of fulfillment and peace. When we send the energy of love outward throughout the interdependent web, we receive an abundance of radiant love energy in return. Namaste!
