Basing our happiness or unhappiness on wealth or lack thereof is misguided. Financial circumstances are physical plane based and therefore transient. When we move our awareness from what we have or have not, and focus on the abundance and love that the Creative Spirit has filled the universe with, we will realize that we need but ask and know that this abundance and love is already ours. When we fail to ask, we fail to receive. When we know from our heart that we have what we need, our needs are fulfilled. Namaste!
