As we travel through this incarnation, we need to accept physical and nonphysical gifts with gratitude and graciousness, knowing that the former are temporary in the totality of our eternal being, and the latter are those that remain with us as we trace our existence back and forth across the veil. On this plane we are engaged in learning lessons only available within the physical plane; however, the lessons learned through the awareness of the spirit of the gifts of the spirit also inform and sustain our current incarnation. When we seek to discover our spiritual connections, we can overcome that which tries to physically divide us. Namaste!
