Realizing that this life is but one of many, and that these blessings and ordeals are but illusions presented to promote growth, allows us to shift our perspective from one of serious intent to one of playful acceptance. The tree continues to grow, through the challenges of each season, knowing when to rest and when to bloom. It does not stand in a serious stance, believing that each ray of sun or flake of snow is a sign of either a boon or doom. The tree is, it exists, lifting its arms to the sun and shaking its branches in the breeze, leaves rustling in soft joyful laughter. The tree knows it is experiencing a physical existence in order to bask in the joy of being. Stop being so serious! Be like a tree and laugh in the sun. If you do not know how, go and wrap your arms around the nearest tree and listen. Press your ear close and hear the music of the spheres joyfully intoning a melody that meets your own in peaceful and loving harmonies within the interdependent web. Namaste!
