Religion and spirituality are not, unfortunately, the same thing. Often, religion tends to see the world in a series of segregated entities. When religion names itself, it creates its unique rules and beliefs to the exclusion of the realm of the spirit that accepts all in a state of love across the interdependent web. Religion says what is right and what is wrong and that only it knows the difference. There is sin, and guilt, and penance. Spirituality sings that we are all the same in the light of the Creative Force and the only “sin” is not joining in the dance across the cosmic rainbow. Spirituality says we are all spirit and  we are all free to share in the experience and knowledge that we are created and sustained in love. Namaste!
