Giving ourselves permission to create means giving ourselves permission to enter into cognizant communion with the Creative Force. When we allow ourselves to express our hearts’ deepest stirrings, we become vibrationally attuned with the greater spirit within which we live. The popular conception of the medieval practice of alchemy was that the practitioner was trying to turn base metal into gold. In actuality, alchemy is the act of changing our base earthly impulses and perceptions into realizations of our spiritual existence and thus in our acts of creativity—our alchemistic moments—we become celebrations of spirit, binding thereby with the larger universal spirit. When we create, the alchemy of love transforms us into our real selves. Namaste!
